Recently, the Curatorial Expert Committee of the Chinese Pavilion for the 2026 UIA World Congress of Architects in Barcelona and the AcademicAdvisory Board of the Architectural Society of China completed two rounds of rigorous selection. Four projects by Yuan Ye Architects stood out among numerous candidates and were officially selected for exhibition in the Chinese Pavilion at this congress.

These four works cover diverse types such as cultural tourism hotels, rural residences, educational environments, and spatial design, showcasing the studio's exploration and practice across multiple architectural fields.

The World Congress of Architects is the highest-level international architectural event organized by the International Union of Architects (UIA), held every three years. The Chinese Pavilion exhibition serves as an important window to showcase contemporary Chinese architectural achievements. Yuan Ye Architects and Dr. Yuan Ye have been invited multiple times to participate in previous World Congresses of Architects and UIA academic events. Projects such as the "Jiang Village Renovation" were selected for exhibition in the Chinese Pavilion at the 2023 World Congress of Architects in Copenhagen.

The works selected for this exhibition by Yuan Ye Architects not only span multiple provinces across China in terms of geographical distribution but also showcase rich diversity in architectural typology and design philosophy. From a mountainous cultural tourism hotel in Jiangxi to a rural tech-integrated residence in Zhejiang, from childrens play landscapes in Beijing to the renovation of a public welfare education space in Hunan, these projects together form a microcosm of contemporary Chinese architectural practice. Each work offers an innovative response to specific social, environmental, and cultural conditions, reflecting the studios design philosophy of "adapting to local contexts and prioritizing human needs":

The "Fushe Mountain Residence" hotel project in Wugong Mountain, Pingxiang, Jiangxi, skillfully integrates architecture into the natural landscape, achieving harmonious coexistence between human habitation and the environment.
