On September 17, China Construction Engineering Design & Research Institute and China State Construction Development Holdings Limited held an unveiling ceremony in Beijing to establish the “Zero-Carbon Aesthetic Architecture Innovation United Lab” and signed a cooperation proposal. Li Qi, Party Secretary and Chairman of China Construction Engineering Design & Research Institute, and Zhu Haiming, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of China State Construction Development Holdings Limited, jointly witnessed the unveiling ceremony. Both parties held discussions on the development of the joint laboratory and future cooperation directions in the new energy sector.

Chief Architect Yuan Ye of China Construction Engineering Design & Research Institute and Chief Engineer and Vice President Zhu Minfeng of China State Construction Development Holdings Limited signed a cooperation proposal. Vice President Liu Weimin of China State Construction Development Holdings Limited, Deputy General Manager Wang Weiran of China Construction Engineering Design & Research Institute, and Chairman Yang Chuanjun of China Construction Engineering Design Co., Ltd. attended the signing and unveiling ceremony.
Zero-Carbon Aesthetic Architecture Innovation United Lab is spearheaded by Master Yuan Ye. Its research and development core comprises original designers and high-end technical professionals jointly selected from China Construction Industry, Far East Photovoltaic, and China Construction Engineering Design Corporation. This laboratory will converge interdisciplinary and multi-sectoral expertise to establish a zero-carbon design language and product system rooted in modern Eastern aesthetics. It aims to create landmark projects with industry-leading significance, striving to become a globally premier innovation hub for zero-carbon design and architectural aesthetics.
According to the cooperation proposal, both parties will leverage their respective strengths to achieve mutual benefits and jointly explore cutting-edge technologies and development pathways for zero-carbon architecture. This initiative will inject new momentum into advancing high-quality development in China's construction industry and achieving the strategic goals of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, contributing wisdom and strength to building a Beautiful China.
